[ well that was exhausting

now that the trial is over, all of the adrenaline taka was running on is out. he's mostly just wandering around, going from room to room while avoiding going to the east wing for as long as he can.

he'll come across hiro at. a point. ]

[At a point. Taka will find Hiro coming out of the study with Mini-Max on his shoulder, the little robot strangely quiet other than soft reassurances of "there, there". As he walks, he notices Taka in front of him and offers an incline of the head.]

Hey. [A beat.] Long day, huh?

[bakaomi]

That's one word for it.

[ but long definitely works. ]

[zerotohiro]

[Too long.] And if we have to do this every week...[He runs a hand through his hair.] I'm not sure that'll work out for everybody.

[There's a pause.] You seemed to do okay out there though.

[bakaomi]

I'm a detective, so I'm used to the trying to solve a case part.

[ it's the screaming in unison with 40 other people part that has him ???? ]

Wait like a real one? [Interest. Piqued.] What're you doing in a game like this then?

[Is he implying a detective would have been smarter to say no? Maybe.]

It's not like we were given all the details!

Well I thought maybe someone would have had time to ask more questions before saying yes! [Jeez.]

Did they really drag all of us here after we said yes without a Q&A? I was hoping somebody else would have a better answer.

[bakaomi]

It seems like it. Do they really seem like the type of gods who'd sit us down first and go over a survey?

[ they barely know what they're doing ]

I don't know. I've only talked to one and they weren't exactly...you know, useful.

[Hiro thinks his god is an idiot, basically.] Patience was supposedly pretty helpful to people though.

[bakaomi]

I have a feeling that Patience doesn't like me.

Because you told her she couldn't get a date? [Taka...]

[bakaomi]

She'll live.

[ she's a neutral party it's FINE ]

If she's gonna be around maybe it's better not to piss her off? They're still gods, whatever that means. Can't they smite us or something? [This is apparently not a serious problem.]

They're not allowed to smite us directly.

They can't, but can she? She's not actually playing.

I think that's maybe one of the things we should consider? What does neutral really mean in this case?

I think we should ask our gods what their opinion is on her.

[zerotohiro]

I don't even know if my god has an opinion? They didn't seem that interested in talking but...I've also only talked to them once. Have you been talking to yours a lot?

[bakaomi]

... yeah, we've spoken.

[ even at this point taka has decided to attach himself to his god so

that just gets worse later ]

[...] Was it that bad? [He's starting to think that maybe this wasn't such a great line of conversation but also he doesn't know how to read Taka??]

Oh, no, it was fine. We got along.

[ EXTREMELY WELL...... ]

Lucky you. [A lopsided grin.] From what people have said it's been a bunch of mixed results. It makes me wonder if the gods knew how they'd get along with people when they picked us.

[bakaomi]

... I dunno. One of the people who I could have chosen from... I wouldn't say I don't get along with them, but I probably would have ended up defecting quickly.
