Ah, well... [ ugh, objectively, he knows it's pretty petty on his part? but... ]
Part of it is just that we don't know each other very well. Another part is difference of opinion - I can understand wanting more proof if I was trying to say "Indulgence couldn't have done it," like he did the week before, but I was just sharing what Catra told me about the potion.
The third is... well... I guess I'm just holding a grudge. There really wasn't any reason for him to check Entrapta's coin - he just wanted to find proof that she was the one that used Devil's Advocate. And then his speech at the end, about how the murderers were good people. Would he have said it if the victims were anyone but Entrapta and Catra - the people who killed Ray, someone he really liked?
[ it just felt like a smear campaign. and they weren't innocent, but. no one else warranted that kind of talk. ]
Besides. We have a dungeon. I'm sure Guy could tell us lots of details about it.
I think for the potion, it was less that he was doubting you and more of a concern about whether the potion worked or not. It's not like you personally would have gained anything from lying about the potion, it just would have made you look suspicious if she didn't wake up. You just ended up being the only person we could ask about it since you were the only one who knew about it.
[ so it ended up looking like they were pressing him as if it was his fault. ]
... I'm biased. Like, super biased. [ obviously, but he's going to openly admit to it at least. ] But almost all of the rest of you are from places where you're at least used to something like this, where you see people die often. Senri and I aren't. We had to very, very quickly learn how to cope with this kind of shit to keep up with the rest of you.
I'm not saying you had an easier time, or that you guys had an advantage, but... he's still a fifteen year old kid who is out of his league, while trying to pretend that he isn't. You don't have to like him, or be friends with him, or even agree with his choices. But his intentions aren't as bad as you think they might be. Sometimes actions don't have to have some sort of angle attached that give them a double meaning-- they're just actions.

We would make bets against each other. One of them was that she'll have to tell me her name if I won it, but then she died that week.
