anything, really. it's been a long day. it's been a long week, actually, but especially today.

he's also wrapped up in jackets and blankets he's cold ]

[ this poor child has been freezing all day! shang qinghua offers a wry smile once they cross paths. ]

Young man, are you warming yourself all right?

Even those blankets must be cold by now. Why don't you go to the study and sit by the fire?

[ it's a few hours after trial and taka looks. dead on his feet. it's been a very long day and he's very tired.

so he isn't looking where he is going and is walking right into shang. ]

[ thankfully, shang qinghua is not so light that he gets bowled over from the collision. more than anything, he looks a tad surprised. ]

Young man, there's no shame in retiring early. Do you need help finding your way to a place to rest?

... oh. No. I haven't gotten a lot of sleep so I guess I'm just more tired after the trial.

[nosediving]

Today's trial was particularly exhausting for some. It's good if you're just tired from not sleeping well, but you should rest once you have the chance.

[ his gaze loses focus momentarily, and he expels the quietest sigh if there ever was one. ]
