Well, it's not like we fully know each other's lives and motivations. Look at Newt. He just seemed like a nerdy douchebag, but then it tuned out he was a murderous one.

That was part of the prophecy Connor, Zoe, and I received last week, when we asked about the upcoming murders. It's vague enough that it could mean anything, and I don't want to fall victim to confirmation bias, but it's a thought.
