Could just be that he's the only one they managed to get? If Saiside had an idea, maybe Grande had better security. Heard they had plans to put a spy network together, but... they haven't bothered to actually do it, so who knows how much they actually knew.
[he exhales a sigh, there, shakes his head.]
I did hear something about the gala being a target before it happened, but nobody in my circles knew what it was a target for... I don't know, maybe they managed to get the heads-up too and put it together, if they already had an idea these guys existed. But they didn't give the same warning to anybody on the Holmeshelm end. That's all speculation, though.
Well, knowing it could be a target really isn't a lot of information to go on... and if only a few people knew about it, that's not really enough to put up any sort of perimeter for such a large event.
[ would it have helped to get the info out more? yeah, but that's also risky as well, so taka can't really be too annoyed about it. ]
Yeah, especially with no idea what might be coming.
[which is partly why he didn't really try... the other part was where the info came from, but. it is what it is.]
The one we got mentioned a couple other things I haven't been able to follow up on, though. Something about a plan Harry has that she thought wasn't solid enough to go anywhere-- no idea about what-- and she seemed to think Bangtan's going to get suppressed before they can actually introduce an independence bill? Guess that's something they were working on.
[he doesn't really pay attention to Idoll politics,]
[you know i could easily just refuse to tag you until you tell me and here i am, BEING NICE
but anyway, chuuya just leans forward a little to rest his chin in his palm, elbow propped on the table.]
Maybe. Shit, I don't know, I'm not sure what exactly they're going for. If they just want to get rid of the current leadership, it's just going to cause more problems...
[and with a roll of his eyes--]
Not to mention interrupting everything, at this rate. We all put too much work into getting here to let these assholes ruin it for us.
Yeah, no kidding. I've told a couple people besides the one I was with, no idea if they've passed it on to anybody... but I haven't heard shit from anyone else so far, so I can't help you there.
no subject
[ he taps his chin, frowning. ]
I wonder why go for Harry then... maybe because it'll be the easiest to cover up since there's already shit around it?

They're probably going to strike again then, huh...

It's hard to herd people together when we might get overheard.

he tilts his head curiously, though.]
Don't tell me somebody already tried.
