[ taka's on his way back to his house in the east wing when he spots the familiar figure. ]

Ishikirimaru?

--ah, Shishimaru-kun.

[ishi pauses along the way back to his own house, turning to give taka a little nod; he's a little more quiet than usual.]

Are you all right, after that?

[this morning sure has been. a lot. four entire body, what is everyone's problem.]

... I'm wondering how tomorrow is going to go.

[ considering how the first trial went when they only had one body to deal with. ]

It will be complicated, I'm certain.

[his brow furrows, there.]

But along with seeking answers, I feel we should be concerned with the added stress potentially making tensions worse, this time.

[bakaomi]

... especially since we can only catch one culprit, so even if we get it right, if there's more than one killer...

[ some people are going to get away with it ]

[ritualization]

We've just lost four of our number. Do you truly think we need to lose up to four more, especially if we happened to get any wrong?

[that comes out a little more stern, but he exhales a breath before continuing, tone losing some of its edge. he's not here to lecture taka (too much).]

It is not that we can only catch one. It is that only one will be chosen. We're perfectly capable of finding more in this process, and handling them in other ways.

[bakaomi]

We'll see. We were mostly lucky that week. Half of the reason people started suspecting Itachi was because of something that had nothing to do with the murder.

[ his being red strung to julius. ]

[ritualization]

We may still have reached the same conclusion, even without that-- but I suppose we cannot truly say.

[a sigh, and-]

For now, we can only hope that it goes better than we expect. Perhaps having been through the process once will help.

Have you spoken to Cunning yet?

[ritualization]

They're not one of the ones I've met, no. I take it you have?

[bakaomi]

Yup.

[ there's another pause. ]

He's looking for someone to spar with. Swords.

[ritualization]

-I see.

[ishi hums thoughtfully, considering.]

I may be able to assist, in that case. Do you happen to know what works well for reaching out to him?

[he could, maybe, use something like that on a day like today, and would also like to not start that off by managing to offend a god.]

When I spoke to him I sent him a book on puzzles.

... his personality seems kind of sophisticated, mostly.

[ritualization]

Then I will see what I can do.

[it's nighttime and now i have to go THINK ON THIS why did nobody talk me out of playing someone who puts a lot of thought into these.]

If I may ask, what else do you make of him?

[bakaomi]

I wouldn't side with him. He's dangerous, but not as bad as Ruin.

[ he shrugs. ]

But from what I've noticed, they seem to just like it when people visit them. It's good to do favors for them, when they're not...

[ murderous. ]

[ritualization]

I've found the same, although I wouldn't call any that I have spoken with dangerous, exactly... neither have I really objected to any of them.

[they seem to be trying? some of them are trying.]

[bakaomi]

I think that... Ruin, Cunning, and Disorder are generally seen to be the the least nice ones. Ambition and Indulgence can lean either way.

I didn't have any issue with any of them though. [ and taka is a rude fuck, so that says a lot ] So you probably won't have a problem.

[ritualization]

I feel I can deal with them well enough, whether they are nice or not.

[if he can work with certain other swords, he can handle them.]

Have you met many, then, or is that something you're working on?

I've spoken to almost all of them. I've only spoken to my own god more than once though.

Actually... the one I'm most interested in is the one we can't really talk to anymore.

Ah- unfortunately, no. I was busy with others.

Though I suppose I should have. Her position in this is interesting.

[ it was just a bit difficult to ask for a chat after he insulted her and got her mad at trial ]

Apparently when the gods came up with this idea, half of them were against it and the other half were for it. She broke the tie.

[ritualization]

And then decided not to participate in it.

[which... hm.]

I would have liked to get a better idea of her intentions in doing so.

[bakaomi]

If you can, maybe ask your god for their opinion on her.

It'd be super annoying if she ended up being some sort of wildcard in this.
