normally, if something like this happens, he'd be a lot more rude. he'd probably say some sort of insult, or demand for yu to watch where he's going, or something along those lines
[ Yu will blink once or twice, caught off-guard. He's seen this boy around -- thinks maybe he's heard him, too -- but hasn't actually spoken to him before. And that reaction... ]
Sorry, I should have been watching where I was going. Are you alright?
[ Yu finds himself tugged from his thoughts when he spots that distinctive green hair out of the corner of his eye. Here in the East Wing, he has no intent other than to just head back to the hostel and ... figure out what to do, from there. But that plan (as much as it can even be called a plan) is derailed entirely when he realizes he's run into Taka.
... his heart clenches, just a little, but it doesn't show on his face. Instead he'll raise a hand. ]
[ the glasses he was wearing seem to've been put away again, so at least this conversation can go normally and not be bizarrely charming or anything. ]
[ it's a couple of hours after the death announcement goes up. taka approaches yu quietly, his expression, much like the general Mood of the day, grim. ]
[ A couple hours later and some of his frigid anger has finally worn off. Of course, that just leaves a much quieter grief in its wake.
Takaomi gets a curious look. For the first time this week Yu actually seems to be hanging around the temple, because that's where the other boy catches him. ]
[ They actually run into each other in the hallways, Saturday evening.
Yu is looking for him, specifically, and actually draws up short when he sees the other boy. He'll blink once or twice, and then continue to close the distance between them, more slowly. ]
[ It takes him some time after the reveal of the dead to work up the will to talk to just about anyone. But god knows there's a lot to do and not a lot of time to get it done in, and --
and she'd probably berate him, for moping.
So he'll go to find Taka wherever he might be, pale but otherwise calm. ]
Shishimaru-san, I wanted to catch up with you. Do you know anything about what happened last night? Was ... anyone able to use the potions?
[ Yu sighs out. Even less information than they had last week... and that trial was very nearly a disaster. Looks like this is shaping up to be a tough one. ]
Running through the dark... and fire, again. [ he gives his head a slight shake. ]
[ For once, Yu is not looking for someone else in this room. The person he finds sitting in the game room, all by his lonesome, is in fact the person he was looking for.
... ]
Takaomi-san?
[ Oh, hey, that's a switch. Yu will wander slowly in to take a seat of his own, his eyes never leaving the other boy. ]
[ he's in the middle of digging through the game collection when yu walks in. taka pauses at yu's entrance, and then he resumes going through them, although if yu looks carefully enough he can see that taka isn't really focusing on any of the game boxes. ]
