[senri currently]

So... what... he wants us to talk to every god that he's made an alliance with and make them aware of what's happening, and be sure that they won't be mad?

Beauty, Cheri, Indulgence, Cunning, Bambi? I'm going to try to talk to Bambi later today anyway... but she's pretty mad at me so wish me luck.

--not every god. Only her, I believe, since she is the one currently in a position to win and who he would be overtaking should we be successful; I asked if he would be more willing to lead again if we could resolve this with her, and he said yes.

[ . . . . ughhh. senri frowns.]

I'll... do what I can - Bambi's my friend, and I'm going to see her soon. [because the audience still hasn't happened it's fine] But... she's grown up a lot, you know? I know that you all think you can't trust her because she's young, but she'll have guidance if she wins. If it was just me... I'd switch to her team and help her win, to be honest, because I think she can do it.

Um - I'm trying... not to do that though. Because I know a lot of people who... won't get their wishes that way. Unless you all feel like changing your mind...

[pouts gently]

Anyway - I told Bambi that I was still trying to figure out what the greatest number of wishes looked like - but I'd support her if she won. Then I went to talk to Piety about everything, and I didn't catch that he wasn't interested in winning anymore. He said that there was a chance that he'd have to shoulder the difficulty if people had hurt feelings of his multiple alliances, but I might not have the time to fix my bonds before I left. I told him that I was struggling with it, because Bambi's my friend and I do want her to win, but I can't get wishes granted that way.

So I couldn't put my support with her... and then... he told her that....

[sighs]

She got mad enough to write about it in her diary - and Connor-san and Yu-kun broke into her room. Connor-san read her diary and found out that she felt betrayed by what I was saying, and she was ignoring me when I sent her offerings yesterday. A parfait that she likes and a letter... and I was only able to find her to talk to her today.

So - I'll see what I can do, but...

[ . . . ]

There's really no way that any of you can support Bambi... A world where hard work is rewarded? I know it's not the same thing as balance, and there are some people on her team that I don't want to see rewarded for hurting others, but...

Some people won't move from their places no matter what anyway... Mizuki-san and Ogou-san are staying right where they are. Nonon-san, too.

Everything.

Forming alliances between them and leaving some out was a stupid endeavour. That's exactly what ruined Konoha. Alliances. The whole reason we're playing this damn game is because of alliances.

All of them should have to work together. All of them. No one should be left out. They're all going to have to agree on one of them to lead, and that leader is going to have to want it and be good at it. Difficult decisions are going to come regardless.

[He sighs, irritable.]

We have three days.

...we've managed a decent amount on short notice before. I believe it is possible, but-- especially now that Ambition knows, I think we can afford to be a little bolder in our efforts, should it become necessary. I doubt her followers will be in the dark for long, if they do not already know.

[considering how easily she's seemed to spill info, ishi has little faith these secret plans are about to stay secret to her faction.]

It is not that she is young, Nito-kun. Piety is young too. So is Merriment, by our standards, and I trust both of them quite a bit. It is the impression I have gotten of her; I know she is your friend, but are you certain she'd be able to keep a level head and listen to the guidance she gets?

...that is an honest question, not a judgment. You know her much better than I do.

.... I know - and it's why I agree that balance is the best. I don't want any gods to be left out and... I don't know if Bambi would do that on purpose, but I also don't think that she'd be a bad leader.

But I know that I don't have as much experience with this sort of thing compared to you both...

[senri doesn't like. topple governments or travel through time or have to fight?]

But... she's already a lot better than she was, you know? It took me a little while to reach out to her, and to get her to open up to me, but I think that if you approach her with kindness and good intentions, then she's plenty willing to listen. When she first started, she didn't even think of trying to grant other people's wishes - she didn't have friends, so why would she reward anyone that wasn't following her?

I asked her to think about it, and she said she'll grant small wishes for everyone else now - that's within her power, and I think it's smart, and kind of her.

From the people that love her, I think she'll be able to grow up a lot and listen.

... in my opinion, it's not ideal. I... It's selfish, but I actually would prefer if Bambi got to live a normal life with her friends - but she chose to be a god. If she wants to win, I think that it's not the worst idea to let her.

But... that's just what I think.

[He makes a face, but it's softer than he'd like for it to be in the end.]

Figure it out. I'm no use to anything about this. I told Justice I was going to be with him in the end. I can't switch to anyone, even if he said he understood.

I still think it should be Piety or Love. But it isn't up to me.

Too many others aren't willing to switch either. It's going to be a default majority. Those low-lifes with Ambition are going to get their rewards just because they're all with a god who they can get to win.

I feel the same, I think. This is a world we are talking about. They have to be able to handle the responsibility that entails from the start, when everything is still fragile... I have faith she will grow into her role, but I am not certain she should begin by leading.

...if we are unable to get enough people to switch to Piety, then I-- suppose I might be able to support Love, if you all believe she would be a good choice, and if her chances are better. But I would prefer not to have to leave him unless it truly becomes necessary.

.... okay.

[and senri just furrows his brow]

... I want your wishes to be granted more than Catra's or Ludger's. Maybe that's not fair, but it's true. Then... right now it's Luke-kun and Ishirin-san. That's two. Guy-san will join you. Three. Taka and myself. Five. If I can get Madopyon, six.

... you can try to convince Shang-san to switch. I told him... I'd tell him who I thought had a better chance of winning. I don't... want to lie to him, when I don't have a clear answer.

I mentioned it to Sieg-kun, Connor-san, and Cinnabon. They're not decided on switching or not, but Sieg-kun might try to work with me.

Lastly, Mizuki-san, Majima-san, and Nonon-san will be staying where they are. That's three people we don't need to consider for the switches - but if they get hit with Advancement Opportunity, they'll probably sooner move to Piety. That's what I think.

But we can't rely on that.

So tomorrow... if you really believe in Piety, please make the arguments that I can't. If we take the three out of consideration, there's 19 participants left. We need ten in order to get a clear majority over Ambition.

I agree.

[amazing]

...Dammit. [He looks irritably indecisive. One of his hands balls into a fist.] I'll talk to Cinque. I'm sure whatever Sieg does, Cinque would do and vice versa. [And then he starts to leave??? of course he does]

I have something I need to do.
