I spoke with Mizuki-san, and they say they were injured in the night-- they woke up that way, with no idea where they came from. Considering that hint we were informed of...

I do not think they are lying. But if they are not strung to someone else who was hurt-- I do not know if this is the case yet-- then someone may be trying to make them seem suspicious, and that is all the more worrying given their name.

I spoke with Piety. We have a potential angle to pursue, when it comes to Ambition.

[ishi folds his hands, inhaling slowly before he begins.]

I am sure you are aware Ambition, Cunning, and Disorder entered into this competition as allies... but he believes that Cunning and Disorder did not expect their junior to be so successful, or to have to rely on her as much. He thinks they may all already be working separately for their own interests, as they are all very competitive-- and that it would be for the best if they were distanced a bit more. Nito-kun, I know you have spoken fondly of two of them, but...

[a soft sigh, there.]

Piety believes that if Ambition does not feel as much like she needs to protect them, and is less desperate for their sake, he can reason with her further and help calm the situation. I think that is why he was willing to give me something we might take advantage of.

Ambition and Disorder I am less familiar with, but I believe Cunning should still owe me, and that I can use his agreement with Piety to try to convince him to let me help him against Ambition, as we all know where my support lies. We might... be able to get some sort of lead out of them, I hope.

week 6, monday

[hello, here's senri. he points at Sasuke to start:] He's your third Merriment, in case you didn't know.

Either Yu-kun joined Indulgence, or Madopyon did. I don't know what deal they struck up. That's why those numbers changed.

Bambi's followers scrambled - I can follow up with Shang-san to see if he's in the same place. Taka, check with Ludger and Catra-san, please. Catra-san's coin was perfect two weeks ago, if that'll help you be able to tell if she's lying. At least one of them had to have moved. I don't know where Estelle was before, or who the Dizzy was.

So that means Bambi's followers could've joined Sincerity, Love, Disorder, or Justice.

Beauty gave me a theater - so tell people if you can to come on Thursday. I'm gonna share everything I know about the gods, and how the game can end. Gods can still possibly grant wishes for people not on their team, but not like - perfect wishes for everyone. They have limitations on their power, too. I'm still looking for more information.

If you have anything you want me to tell everyone, let me know. I'll give Cheri my script beforehand, so he can fact check me on what I'm saying so I don't tell anyone anything that's incorrect.

I already told Taka and Sasuke, but everything I know is going on this. I've been taking notes. So if anything happens to me, I'm getting a pretty indestructible case from Indulgence so it doesn't get broken, and then Beauty will hold it after trial. Beauty will send out letters for me, like Ray-kun did with Love, and I might send my passcode to one more person just in case as a failsafe. But I trust the three of you with it, and with everyone's alignments, if I can't vouch for them myself.

[he pauses]

Yeah, I can ask them both. I think I'm at the point with Catra where she'd probably at least tell me if she switched, even if she doesn't say who to.

Estelle was with Justice - so that means someone slid in to fill her place. My guess is that Mouri-san did leave for a week to join Ambition, and then came back.

Then two others dispersed - either to Disorder, Cunning, Love, or Sincerity.

So that means this week my unknowns - until they're cleared up - are Catra-san, Shang-san, Ludger-kun, Alex, Entrapta, and Hiro-kun.

They have to make up the alignments of [counts on his fingers] two Ambitions, one Sincerity, one Love, one Cunning, one Disorder.

It was Oda. He said he left for Cunning before going back to Justice.

Oda, Mouri, and Connor are all with Justice. Oda and Mouri have Lie Detection. I told them they need to find someone together to use signals similar to what Ray and I did so they don’t out themselves.

Connor has Supreme Authority.

They all seem content to stay with Justice, or they claimed to be. Oda said he doesn’t need his reward anymore, but Mouri and Connor didn’t say. You might can persuade them to join the winning god.

I told them to work with Justice and go to Senri’s performance. If you need to get a message to them discreetly, go through Justice or me.

[Before leaving with Ishi, Sasuke doubles back to check one final time on Senri and Taka while they're out. It's strange being awake for once.

He brushes the backs of his fingers over Senri's cheek, but pulls away after.] You've shown me... what not to take for granted. Thank you. I hope you find what you're looking for. Maybe you've already found it. [Tucked in Senri's hand, he leaves small, folded origami: two people holding the hand of someone in the center, someone smaller, like a child; there's a looped spiral in the center of the child's silhouette.

By Taka, he leaves the ipod and the headphones, carefully placed.] I'm returning it. I don't want to hear you complain if I broke it by mistake. [He'd definitely accidentally break it being stupid.] Thanks... I think... I would have liked to meet them too.

I'm sorry. For all the trouble I've caused.

[And then he departs with Ishi for nightly patrol.]

[what's up it's time to gather for info share time again! once they're all here, ishi takes a moment to gather himself, hands folded in his lap.]

... Uchiha-kun and I have decided to follow through with eliminating our best suspects. With that in mind-- considering the deal Guy-san says he made, we've also made arrangements with two gods to attempt to ensure our actions at least protect the two of you.

[a pause, there.]

However, when we spoke with Indulgence, he said he was unable to make a second item that would protect a person from death. Evidently Ray-kun had him make one already, and it was not on his body when he died. The replacement arrangement we've made is for something that will let a person know someone intends to target them, but... did Ray-kun give either of you something like that?

W6, bright and early death day

[The parlor is full of mayhem for another post-curfew day.

Sasuke and Ishikirimaru are tucked up against the bar together. The right side of Sasuke's face is covered in blood except for where he's rubbed and smeared it away from his squinted eye. The front of his hair is matted from it, dusted with ash, and rivulets of blood pour from over his jaws and down his neck.

There's a lot of blood.

Most seems to come from Sasuke who is deathly pale and breathing shallow. Everything from the waist up has been removed and, instead, wrapped around his midsection, but it's all darkened, the left of his leg darkened, the floor around them darkened.

Ishikirimaru is fairing slightly better. Singed holes dot his outfit, leaving behind red and scalded patches, like burns, and the arms of the clothes have been pulled away, baring blistered skin. He's trying to keep Sasuke awake, but seems to be squinting with the process.]

[ritualization]

... do not worry about me. We'll need to see to his wounds and clean them, I can't...

[there's a little frustration in his tone, though it's primarily concern.]

My vision is not what it should be. I may have to rely on you two for this.

[with all that blood, he's having some trouble distinguishing the actual injuries it's coming from.]

week 6, friday

and crying. oh my god senri is always crying. but the look on his face is a lot more urgent than how tearful his face is. he's got another stack of papers in his hand, and he's flipping through them, as if trying to find the right one as he rushes into the parlor]

Ray-kun wrote to me.

Here's a list of things to keep in mind now that I'm gone. I'll keep things simple: pay attention.

1) Look at this way: you don't have to go out of your way to visit anymore, since there shouldn't be anyone worthwhile hanging around there now.

2) I'll even accept you going to Sincerity and crossdressing again to cope: those pigtails were stupid, though.

3) Trust the people you do: don't trust the people who don't trust you.

4) Agreed: that's such a nasty way to find out, in your words.

5) You don't need me. Keep going.

P.S. Did Takaomi ever tell you about the time Sasuke forced him to take off all his clothes to check something? The shirt was fine, but anything else was... well, you can guess. It was pretty funny. I'm dead now, so I don't have to worry about them coming after me for this.

One - he means the lab, because I would bother him there. Two - Entrapta had pigtails. Three - the two of them didn't trust me. Four - I said that to him, when we were talking about Catra. Five - I.... I don't know but—

... he wrote to me too, but part of my letter was torn off so I have no idea what the rest of his message was. But one part said, "Tick tock, tick tock. You know how you all feel when you're running out of time during trials? That's how I'll be feeling all week."

Catra did the clock for when trial was almost over every week.

[ he thinks it's pretty obvious what the fifth point means, but he doesn't dwell on it. ]

LATER FRIDAY

.... I had to tell a white lie to Connor-san. He's... He asked me to look out for anyone who's acting strange tomorrow, because he knows that one person broke his rule. And he told me that the penalty is that the person who inflicted harm, if they're still among the living, will be experiencing symptoms similar to what they imposed upon their victim.

[ . . . ]

I don't know who else he asked to help him, but I told him that I'd try. He... asked if he could trust me, and if I would be able to confront someone who was close to me that might've committed premeditated murder.

[senri crosses his arms, but also probably looks a little like he's wrapping his arms around himself]

... I told him that I don't know if I could, and there was a chance that I'd let him down.

[he glances elsewhere]

I'm not gonna give up Sasuke.

... but if it gets out, I'm going to have to pretend that I didn't know. I think I'll still be able to present Ray-kun's letter, as justification... but I'm sorry.

[senri is on his phone again, and he's. tired! he's super tired. he's been looking at the numbers and rubbing at his face]

... Entrapta, Catra, Ludger, Hiro-kun, Alex, and Shang-san for Ambition, I think.

Oda-san, Mouri-san, and Connor-san on Justice.

Ishirin-san and Luke-kun for Piety.

Myself and Mizuki-san for Beauty.

Yu-kun and Majima-san for Indulgence - maybe. I don't know if Yu-kun switched back.

... if Bambi wins, I'm going to try to get her to grant Ray-kun's wish. But... I don't know if you all agree with that, or her. The plan was... Piety, right? But some people will stay with their own gods until the end...

Ah - and a rabbit has good ears.... I think Ludger-kun had an item during trial that he said would be able to do something 'next week'. Can someone see if he still has a ring on him? I wonder... how they managed to save Catra.

I would be a little wary of him, truthfully. Send someone besides us to find that out-- he's angry with me and Uchiha-kun, dislikes you, and he pressed me to try to get me to admit Shishimaru was the other person awake. If he is the one who spared her, after all his anger about killing and hiding it...

[catra did the same thing. if ludger was involved, ishi's not going to forgive him easily.]

... I am unsure what to do about the numbers, but I cannot agree with her winning by any means. She has never displayed the necessary qualities to lead, that I have seen, and shows her apparent age. That is an end I don't think I could accept.

week 7, tuesday

[TALKATIVE RABBIT RETURNS - ]

I talked to Luke-kun but... Guy-san might be going to Piety at the end, too. He said he's willing to double-check for me, but that'd help if no one tries to hurt Guy-san this week.

Shang-san and I had a chat too and... I think he's undecided. Um... but the thing is - I... I get why people can't join Bambi, but it feels really awful of me to try to steal away someone from her team, even if it'd help the numbers. So if someone else could talk to him... he's a little stressed though. So please be gentle.

I've talked to Sieg-kun and Cinnabon too - so they're at least thinking about it.

Connor-san is thinking about having a meeting toward the end of the game, to see if we can try to come to a consensus. I told him that I'm scared of people outing their alignments so openly but... if he decides to have one, I'll go with it. In general, I'll try to talk to him about choosing Piety at the end. I want him to get his wish. He's done a lot for me.

So... if we can get Shang-san to switch, Bambi's down to five.

If not, we need just a few more people to go to Piety and we really might be able to win.

The other weird thing is... Entrapta didn't admit to being Disorder, the weekend that Yu-kun got cursed. But that doesn't make sense, of the other alignments that I didn't know. So who else could be covering for Ambition? I keep pointing fingers at Ludger but - I can't think of anyone else...

[and here we gO AGAIN - ]

Ogou-san and Mizuki-san have also been working on something - an alliance between a group of gods. Beauty, Indulgence, Sincerity, Piety, Cunning, and possibly even Disorder. Passhi said that based on the alliance, as long as one of those gods takes the lead, everyone on that alliance would benefit. So I think... that'd at least help us get more to Piety. ... I don't know - it feels weird to me to leave out Love and Merriment too, but I'm sure they'd be taken care of no matter what.

[and then senri touches the brooch that rests on his lapel - ] And... if Taka and Sasuke are going to be awake on Thursday, I want one of them to take this.

[he glances over to them]

And I want them to keep it until Saturday.

Entrapta wouldn't confirm she was with Disorder to me either. She just said "she was trying to find Zoe and Jude's killer when I accused her of causing a distraction.

[Weird.

He glances at Taka at the last part, though. Right, the brooch. Did Taka want it? Sasuke doesn't care either way, it seems, as long as they have it................to run back and stick it to Senri if times get desperate.]

I told Oda, Mouri, and Connor to switch to the winning god if they want their reward. Oda said he didn't need his anymore. I assume he's staying with Justice, here I'll be.

Unless... you need a tie-breaker. I can... talk to Justice. He said if it's Piety, he doesn't mind.

Week 7, friday [1/2]

[No deaths, YAY! But

the costume hall is empty when Ishi and Senri emerge from the forced slumber. Nothing seems out of place, not even the clothes. Calling out yields nothing. In the hallway, there's still no sign of a black- and green-haired boy. They can go out into the courtyard, but Sasuke and Taka aren't there with the other people mingling out.

HM.

If Ishi and Senri search all over the temple, they won't find anything. Not even in the game room. The PS4 isn't even on, and it's not warm. Concerning.

It's when they're heading out to check the wings. Sasuke emerges from the east wing, pace ease, still in the black and gray sukajan jacket, still with the uchigatana twisted to his lower back at his waist. In one hand, he has a styrofoam box with a hole at the top to let condensation out.

Beside him is:]

Two things.

One - Ludger was the Disorder follower during Week 5 that cursed Yu-kun. Take this information as you will, tomorrow's the last trial and I don't have problem calling him out on every awful thing he's done throughout the competition so people can start disregarding his terrible opinion!
